Watch the exclusive international fireworks competition held on the Gold Coast. SeaFire returns to the Surfers Paradise Beach shoreline on June 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Two renowned pyrotechnic teams from Germany and Sweden will compete for the coveted title. At 8:50 p.m., the night will end with a breathtaking fireworks finale from Australia’s top pyrotechnic team, Skylighter. Ensure you attend SeaFire only because it is a FREE, family-friendly event!
Gold Coast Pride Festival
The Gold Coast will come alive in June with drag queens, DJs, street cuisine, market stalls, and a dog pageant for the third Gold Coast Pride Festival. On June 3, the city will conduct its third annual Gold Coast Pride Festival at Macintosh Island, which will be transformed into a sea of colour by the neighbourhood non-profit Gold Coast Rainbow Communities.
Memory Walk & Jog
Get together, form a team, get involved, and help combat dementia. You’ll be part of a passionate community as we work to make today better for the estimated 487,500 Australians living with dementia. The Memory Walk & Jog will be on June 4 at Pratten Park in Broadbeach.
QUEEN – Bohemian Rhapsody
Many consider Freddie Mercury the most captivating and outspoken performer in modern rock. And Queen is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. If you are a fan, you will enjoy QUEEN – Bohemian Rhapsody at The Star Gold Coast.
Following the success of the film Bohemian Rhapsody, famed Australian Freddie Mercury mimic Thomas Crane will perform a new Queen tribute concert on June 17. Thomas and his hot band Bohemian Rhapsody recreate the visual delight, auditory excitement, and theatrical fervour of a Queen concert.
BUNBURRA
Bunburra develops leadership skills and athletic prowess in young people. It also recognises these motivated youth. Bunburra, named after the Yugambeh word for “beach,” is an annual Indigenous beach touch football championship held on the Gold Coast for young people aged 14 to 17 from twelve Indigenous communities.

Milky Way Breakfast Festival
Grab coffee with your family and dog, and relax on the Outdoor Stage of HOTA while listening to music and watching puppies! The Milky Way Breakfast Festival is for toddlers and dogs on June 24. Maree Field from the Outback Spectacular will appear as a guest with Charlie and perform with her border collies.
Bring your dog to this unique session where they can walk and play while listening to music. The music is produced expressly for dogs, with melodies and frequencies that are inaudible to human ears but have a distinct appeal to dogs.
