Held twice a month on the first and third Sunday from 8am to 2pm, this central Gold Coast market boasts a huge spread of local stalls showcasing and selling the best of Australian-made arts and crafts – fashion, jewellery, homewares and more – along with fresh produce, good food and fantastic live entertainment.
The Broadbeach Art & Craft Markets have been running for more than 30 years, and continue to be one of the most vibrant markets on the Gold Coast. Held weekly on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights, the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets are worth hanging around for after a fun day on the beach. From 4pm to 9pm, over 100 lively market stalls take over the Esplanade near Cavill Mall, and there isn’t a better place to pick up a bargain.

The Village Markets Burleigh Heads

Held at the Burleigh Heads State School – not far from Justins Park next to Burleigh Beach – The Village Markets offer a fantastic way to spend Sunday morning with over 100 stalls selling bargain fashion, homemade arts and crafts and a whole host of vintage and rare items. Hailed as Queensland’s largest market, the Carrara Markets on Gooding Drive – reachable in a short 15-minute drive from Broadbeach – offer more than 400 stalls with must-have secondhand clothes and accessories, homewares, collectables, antiques and books plus an abundance of tasty food and fresh produce.
