Quiksilver and Roxy Pro is one of the biggest surfing competitions in the world as the top ranking local and international surfers converge and compete for the championship title. The ‘best event‘ will be held at Snapper Rock in the southern end of the Gold Coast and will take place from 26 February – 9 March 2011. Snapper Rock creates the best rip, slash and tear waves in the Gold Coast and provides some of the best speed pockets in the world.

Quiksilver will bring in some of the greatest surfers in the land including our top surfing Aussies Joel Parkinson and the two-time World Champion Mick Fanning. Moreover, the 2011 Roxy pro will also showcase the most stellar female surfers in the planet including the reigning four-time ASP Women’s World Tour champion Stephanie Gilmore from NSW. The competition will include top ranking Australians female surfers Sally Fitzgibbons and Rebecca Woods as well as international surfers such as Brazilian Silvana Lima, Pauline Ado of France and Sofia Mulanovich from Peru.
